Hot dip galvanised steel strapping is used for packaging operations, to bind or secure products. The strapping is secured around the product or goods to be transported or stored. The ends of the strapping are pulled and overlapped (using a strapping tensioner) and then secured with a seal, buckle or interlocking mechanism.
The strapping can be used to close boxes and containers, to tie products during handling and shipping operations, and to secure or anchor objects. It can also be used as reinforcement for wooden crates or cardboard boxes.
